Isn't it such a great book?? I bought it for pretty much my whole family for Christmas and some other people too. Pretty life changing if you are truly looking at it with an open heart- and isn't that what the gospel should be- life changing? Jonathan and I have been listening to a lot of Francis Chan's sermons on podcasts and they are so good. You can find them on francischan.org or cornerstonesimi.com. So many great messages. We have definitely had some change of thinking and living going on around here, and need to do lots more of it! In the words of Lisa Chan, Francis' wife... "There is a finish line that we cannot forget about. Do whatever it takes to fix your eyes on it, because the reward is GREAT, and how it grieves the Spirit of God when we are torn down and distracted by foolish things. I am praying for all of you tonight, that God would give you a fresh sense of purpose and ministry." Love you and praying for you, and praising God for the work that I can see He is doing in you through this trial!JONATHAN and SHAWNAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00565473905543362595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3933464282539190628.post-73126948628226396352011-01-08T08:59:08.822-08:002011-01-08T08:59:08.822-08:00Hang in there Sarah. And I think one of the blessings of the stay, and the forced down-time, could be that you have time to refocus and get perspective--time that having small-children around full-time does not always allow.
